Exploiting Timeless Timing Attacks

The next edition of Montrehack will be held on Wednesday, September 20th, 18:00 to 21:00.

Recent research on race conditions have highlighted an older research called Timeless Timing attacks. In this montrehack presentation, the participants will be able to assess and test and demonstrate understanding of timeless attacks, using a Northsec challenge from 2022

Tools and Experience Required

• Python and the abilities to install new Python packages

Where

• Polytechnique, Local M-1120
• Follow the presentation online on Twitch
• Participate in teams or on your own on Discord

When

Wednesday, september 20th, 18:00 to 21:00 from 6pm to 9pm

How

• Workshop style
• Bring your own laptop
• Challenges will be analyzed
• Small groups of people can work on each challenge
• Solutions to each challenge will be presented to everyone at the end of the event

La prochaine édition de Montréhack aura lieu Le mercredi 20 septembre, 18:00 to 21:00.

Des recherches récentes sur les race conditions ont mis en lumière une étude antérieure appelée “Timeless Timing attacks”. Dans cette présentation, les participants pourront évaluer, tester et démontrer leur compréhension des “timeless attacks” en utilisant un challenge du Northsec 2022.
