Hackito Ergo Sum 2010 FPGA Challenge

En 2010, Hackito Ergo Sum présentait l’un des premier challenge s’intéressant à la sécurité des FPGA offert au public. Le fichier de configuration en main, les participants devaient extraire le mot de passe permettant d’allumer une DEL. Malgré les 48 heures alouées, aucune équipe n’a pu compléter le challenge.

Cinq ans plus tard, Montréhack vous propose de revisiter ce challenge en vous armant des outils open source s’étant développés ces dernières années.

Hackito Ergo Sum 2010 FPGA Challenge

In 2010, Hackito Ergo Sum presented one of the first challenge oriented towards the security of FPGA. Provided the configuration file, hackers had to extract the password enabling them to turn on an LED. After the 48 hours CTF, no team had successfully extracted the password.

Five years later, Montrehack invites you to try this unresolved challenge with the help of open source software developed within the last five years.
